Writer. Performer. Queer. Witch.

Bollyvvitch (she/her) is a South Asian writer, singer songwriter and performance artist, based in Manchester, UK.

In 2019, she published her first book, 'Tainted Beauty - The Memoir of an Authentic Creation'.

In her first book, she tells her story of transitioning in the early 00s, and her experiences as a trans woman throughout her life.

Her story is told in an honest, sexy and unapologetic way. Her book was published under her real name.

That same year, she began her drag career and created 'The BollyWitch', a drag monster that combined her love of classic horror, her experiences as a practising witch, and her connection to Bollywood culture to create a spellbinding persona that lit up the stage.

She has performed around the UK and internationally, both in person and online.

Her love of alternative art resulted in her creating her own show in Manchester, A-POC-ALYPSE CABARET.

Her goal was to create a space that platforms QTIPOC artists that showcase alternative drag, burlesque, live music and performance art.

The cabaret became an instant hit, selling out shows and creating Manchester's POC Queer Coven Collective.

In 2023, her follow-up book, 'Yvolved - The Memoir of a Tainted Beauty', was published, that continued her story and explored her experiences with significant people that helped shape her life.

Like her first book, 'Yvolved' was released to great reviews on Amazon and Waterstones.

Throughout the years, she has been an outspoken activist, advocating for trans rights.

Her activism has been documented in newspaper articles such as Manchester Evening News, has spoken on radio stations and featured on television including the BBC documentary 'Womanhood' and live on 'Newsnight'.

In 2025, her persona evolved from drag performer to recording artist, known as 'Bollyvvitch'. Her debut single, 'Celestial', will be released, which is from her upcoming album that will soon be announced.
